Did I do anything wrong?

My father usually gives me and my brothers haircuts. I had finals so he didn't give me a haircut but he did give my brothers. he said after finals i'll get mine. so my finals are over and i went to a barber and got a haircut. Now my parents are upset with me because i didn't get a haircut from my father. did ido anything wrong?
