Trying To Concieve...?

I have been having unprotected with my husband for 3 years and yes we are trying for a baby i have not been on any birth control methods or anything like that. Two things to add is he smokes alot and we contracted the std chlamydia for sometime and im not sure if that affected me or him but since Jan.5th he was incarcerated and got out september 6th.we went back to trying still no luck i live in tampa fl,does anyone know an ob/gyn to get my uterus examined or what can we possibly do to increase our chances?
