Did anyone else ALMOST lose a parent?

When I was 16, my mother was sick with meningitis. It seems like such a little problem, but it was really bad. She was in the hospital for a little over a month. She's the type that won't go to the doctor for anything, and this was one of those times. She thought there was nothing wrong, just a cold or something..but obviously, it was worse. She's fine now though, just getting old! You know I actually worry about her because she's older...I don't know why..she's perfectly healthy. Glad your mom is alright :)
