PATD. B&B found on the back of a necklace, what does it mean?

My mother was going though her old jewelry and came across a necklace, she gave it to me and on the back of the odd charm on the necklace was a flap, when I lifted it up it had PATD. B&B inscribed on it. I was thinking that the PATD. stands for patented, but I don't know what the rest means, any thoughts?
