Should indigenous Australians have seats in federal parliament reserved for them?

Absolutely not! We have enough trouble getting good MPs now without reserving seats for a tiny minority, most of whom have only a few drops of Aboriginal blood in them anyway. If an indigenous Australian wants a seat in Parliament, I honestly believe they would have the same chance as anyone else of being elected if they gain pre-selection for one of the major parties and I don't think they would have any more trouble than anyone else gaining pre-selection if they're a good candidate.
