What Kind of Dancing Is This?

This is easy. They were doing a jive, which is a triple step swing. Waltz is much slower and more graceful, and box step is not an actual dance. A lot of the moves that they were doing, for example the cradle, are done in all forms of swing, especially the jitterbug. I do not think it is at all like what junior prom kids would do, it is much to fast and very tiring, I am working on a jive in my ballroom dance cl. If you were looking for a junior prom dance, I would suggest Waltz or FoxTrot, which are slow, not too hard, beautiful dances.
