When a guy treats u like his sister, wil there be any chance of moving into a relationship?

when i have juz ended a relationship and moving on my life. somehow this eye candy of mine (for a long time) made me realise that I can give him my life. however he told me that he treats me like young sister and like me that way. well... is there by any chance we can be together one day? it is like a gal woo guy thing... how to go about doing it without having him feeling annoy?
